Mindfulness is a state of being fully in contact with the present moment. It means being aware, from moment to moment, of your ideas, feelings, physical sensations and the environment around us. It includes noticing small things which you might not have discovered before. The goal is not so much about relaxing, but more on detecting things smoothly. Two aware techniques that can be done anywhere are focussed breathing and body scan.
